Remains of the fort (tower) are preserved above the village of Kebelj. The tower was part of the defense system of the upper Kebelj Castle, whose first owner was most likely Timo Kebeljski (Tymo de Gibel), according to sources from 1251. When the upper Kebelj Castle changed ownership, the Kebelj family moved to the castle Zbegov grad, whose ruins are located below the village. According to a legend, the castles were once connected with an underground tunnel.
