Church of St. Joseph
The church of st. Joseph is one of the most important sacral monuments in the area. It is a typical example of Baroque architecture belonging to the so-called Sladka gora type. The church dominates the landscape around Slovenska Bistrica. It is an impressive structure and landmark above the town. The main characteristic of the Church of St.Joseph is its Baroque altars (there are no paintings). The main altar was made by Jožef Straub from Maribor in the years 1757 and 1758.
