Ropret forge
The first reference of the forge in the village of Malo Tinje is traced back to the second half of the 19th century. Originally it had functioned solely as a forge and the flax drying room was added later. The forge was extremely important to the village and the local people, as the demand for blacksmith-made tools and hardware had always been great. Both rooms have been restored and are open to the public and various blacksmith tools and equipment are displayed. Demonstrations of traditional methods of flax grinding are also available.
