The Pohorje battalion was attacked and destroyed by the German army on 8^th January 1943 in the vicinity of the former tri-border area. The museum at Osankarica houses the Pohorje Partisan exhibition, which includes a model of the shelters used by the Partisans, along with a model of the field of the last battle. A documentary about the brave soldiers is also available. The exhibition can be visited throughout the year.
