The parade of children's carnival masks is made up of mostly group masks from elementary schools. Children make masks with their teachers, mentors and parents in the weeks before the carnival. The procession is usually accompanied by brass bands. Sometimes the children are joined by kurents, who are famous carnival figures not only in Slovenia, but throughout the world.
