The trail begins in Zgornja Bistrica and continues along the road that leads towards the Bistriški Vintgar Gorge, to a marking that directs you left across the brook. You continue between the houses to the wine-growing village of Visole and then along the "Old Tinje road" to Turiška vas, Veliko Tinje and Planina pod Šumikom. The trail begins to climb the ravine, which you follow to the top, all the way to the hotel Jakec near Trije Kralji.

The description of the trail:

Leave the car at the parking near the Impol factory.

Continue towards the waterfall and the Bistriški Vintgar Gorge, to a marking that will direct you to the left across the brook.

The trail begins to climb slightly.

You continue to the wine-growing village of Visole and then along the "Old Tinje road" to Turiška vas, where you turn left at the guest house Brbre left to the village of Veliko Tinje.

When you get to Tinje, the markings will direct you will direct you up the stairs and past the church and then to the forest, where the trail will lead you to Planina pod Šumikom.

The path begins to climb the ravine, which you follow to the top.

From there it leads all the way to Hotel Jakec. You can also follow this trail to Osankarica.
