One of the most picturesque trails of the area leads through the gorge of the Bistrica Stream. It starts 3 km outside the center of Slovenska Bistrica, in Zgornja Bistrica, from where it follows the Bistrica Stream. The hike to Močnik takes around 2 hours, and there are numerous natural and cultural sites along the way (Roman Quarry, Šum Waterfall, the archeological site of Ančnikovo gradišče, Štampohar Mill, remains of the famous Marolt fir tree etc).
