Jakec Ski Center, Trije Kralji: a small but pleasant ski resort, which is only 16 km away from Slovenska Bistrica, attracts mostly families, school groups and recreational skiers. A nice hotel is available if you plan to stay longer. The resort lies at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,347 meters and has two lifts with a capacity of 1,700 skiers per hour. Two of the four ski runs are one kilometer long, while the other two are shorter (500 m). There is also a 4 km cross country ski track available.

 

The resort produces artificial snow to add to the natural snow cover, and there is also a ski school available. The hotel Jakec offeres accommodation and delicious traditional dishes from the Pohorje area, as well as other specialities.

 

Trije Kralji is the starting point for various hiking and cycling trails across Pohorje, and a tourist road connects Trije Kralji with the resorts of Areh and Rogla.
