You are invited to watch the biographical historical drama Limonov: The Ballad.
Eduard Limonov has been many things in his life: a writer, poet, political leader, punk, revolutionary, outcast, violent, war hound, lover of beautiful women and even a butler to a milionaire in Manhattan. All of this life is still shrouded in mystery today, as we know the most about it thanks to the author's own mythologizing. The film follows his journey from Soviet Union to the United States, where he ends up on the streets, but a fortunate coincidence leads him to Paris. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he returns to Russia, where he establishes the National Bolshevist Party. The film was based on the 2011 biographical novel Limonov by Emmanuel Carrere.
